Free Disability in the Workplace Seminar for Brazos Valley Employers Set for April 21
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS – Brazos Valley employers are invited to a free seminar called "Disability in the Workplace" on Tuesday, April 21 from 8:30 am to 4 pm at the Washington County Fairgrounds Event Center in Brenham.
Participants will learn innovative ways to recruit and retain employees from a hiring pool of people with disabilities. They will also receive a free catered lunch and resource packet.
This event is hosted by the Brazos Valley Employment Project and sponsored by the Center on Disability and Development at Texas A&M University. Financial support for the Brazos Valley Employment Project is provided by the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities ($125,000 or 75%) with federal funds made available by the U.S. Department of Health and
Human Services, Administration on Developmental Disabilities.
